In honor of the Little Man's 3rd birthday, I have teamed up with Educational Insights to offer a great giveaway for you guys. We all know how difficult finding interactive toys can be. Safe gifts for 3 year old boys can also be hard to find. It's one of those things that you need to put a lot of research into! Keep reading to find out how you can win a Design and Drill Take-Along Toolkit!
The Review:
This little toolkit is awesome. A great way to keep little hands busy, no matter where you are. The toolbox doubles as an activity board and contains 60 regular bolts in 5 different colors, 3 bits, an electronic screwdriver, and an activity guide with 10 patterns.
Designed to improve fine motor skills and creativity, this toolkit teaches kids counting, sorting, shapes, and colors. Sammy has had a blast sorting the bolts into the different colors, and then using the different shape drill bits to sort by shape. The best part is that he's having fun and not thinking about learning.
I loved the excitement that came from the first time he pressed the button on the drill. He was fascinated by the fact that he had a power drill like Daddy and spent hours screwing the little bolts into the activity board.
The only problem I have with this set is, well - there's 65 pieces to keep up with. We solved that by only letting him play with it after the other toys were cleaned up. That made a huge difference, and now I'm not worried about the bolts being lost in the bottom-less toy pit box.
