Summer Sweeping - Munchkin Diaper Pail Review

I received a Munchkin Diaper Pail in exchange for an honest review

They provided me with an awesome Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail to review for you guys, and I just have to say, this thing is amazing!

Because my baby girl had such a low birth weight, her doctor suggested a high calorie formula.  She's gaining weight and is a little chunk now, but there's a downside to the special formula.  She stinks.  I'm not kidding, this tiny little girl can clear a room with one dirty diaper.  We were throwing her diapers into the kitchen trash can because it was hidden in a cabinet, but after two or three diapers the smell would drift out and ruin everyone's appetite.  And since our two year old isn't completely potty trained yet, that means double the stinky diapers.

Arm & Hammer to the rescue!  In the four days that we've had this diaper pail, I've been able to stop using air fresheners, candles, and wax warmers to cover the smell of dirty diapers.  When people walk into the house, they comment on how clean it smells - a big change from last week when my mom walked in and wrinkled her nose, asking if she could help clean!

What I like best about the Munchkin Arm & Hammer Diaper Pail is that there is a (refillable!) cartridge that dispenses baking soda into the bag each time the lid is closed.  This, along with their patented "self-sealing system," works wonders for keeping the foul stench at bay.

The lid was hard to figure out at first (Momma without a clue here!) but after a couple tries I realized that you have to push the button down and then lift up the lip under the button.  Each bag holds about 25 diapers.
