The Best Gift You'll Ever Give - AwesomeBox

I'm one of those overly-sentimental gifters, the kind of lady who looks for gifts that have a special meaning behind them that the giftee will be able to think, "Aww," every time they look at said gift. With Father's Day right around the corner, I wasn't about to make an exception - even though I was tempted to get him the same thing he got me for Mother's Day... (hint: he didn't get me anything.)

But then I came across AwesomeBox. The disclosure: I was sent a code that allowed me to order an AwesomeBox free of charge, in exchange for me sharing my experience; but, like always, my opinions are my own and I only recommend products that I think you guys will love too.

Anyway, back to the AwesomeBox. The way their site is set up, you can invite anyone to share memories to be included in your AwesomeBox.

I ordered the 25 card box and set the delivery date for a week away since I knew I was making all the cards myself. If you're inviting others to share photos and memories, it's best to select a delivery date a little further out to make sure everyone has time to dig through their photo albums and get the pictures uploaded.

You can invite people straight from the site, or share the link to your AwesomeBox-in-progress so they can upload their pictures. As you create the cards, you have the option to share a memory on the back.

I decided I wanted to go with a "Reasons We Love Daddy" theme. Again - I'm overly-sentimental. I uploaded pictures of Matt and the kids through the years and on the back of each card I wrote a reason why the kids love him. A "Things That Make Daddy Great"-type thing.

So I know I probably should've waited until Father's Day to open it, but I was so excited to see how the box turned out that I ripped open the packaging as soon as it showed up in the mail. Seriously, I would love if someone made something like this for me. *HINT HINT, MATT!*

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I totally win Father's Day with this gift. I can't wait to see the look on his face. If he cries, I'll totally upload it and write a reaction post for you guys. You know, since Mr. Manly-Man doesn't share emotions. *Insert Tim Taylor's manly grunt here*

Really, though. Look at how stinkin' awesome these cards are:

Printed cards are 5 1/4 inches square and fit snuggly into a 6x6 inch box.

Oh! One thing that I did notice, on the back of each card there is a little signature at the corner so you can see who makes each one. If you're creating the cards yourself, or if you're having a special "guess who shared this memory" kind of game with your "unboxing," then there is the option to turn that off so the signatures aren't printed on the card. I totally spaced out and left my signature on Matt's, and so they look a little bit tacky with an "I MADE THIS!" feel. *shrug* It happens.

An AwesomeBox would be a perfect gift for any kind of moment where you're celebrating one or two people. Think: graduation gift, Mother's Day, anniversary, wedding, or even for a going away party. It's thoughtful, sweet, sentimental, and has the potential for being hilarious. The possibilities are endless, and the thought behind the AwesomeBox is genius.

Check out their site at AwesomeBox.com and start an AwesomeBox for someone you love!
