Review of Skip Hop Zoo Collection Zoojamas™ and Storage Bin

Ever since Kaya was born, she's had those big bright blue eyes. I've always joked and called her my owl baby, and somehow everything in her nursery slowly became owl-themed.

So when Skip Hop reached out to me about reviewing a couple of items from their Zoo Collection, I was all over it! Seriously, have you seen the Otis the Owl line? So stinkin' cute!

They sent over the Large Storage Bin and the Zoojamas™ Little Kid Pajamas for us to review.

The Skip Hop Zoojamas™ are probably Kaya's favorite pajamas now. She loves the polka dot pattern on the pants and arms, and thinks the owl is "sooo cute!" (Apparently my three-year-old was a valley girl in a past life)

The top is scratch-free and double-lined, meaning this shirt is going to last as long as it fits her. When she grows out of it, we're going to have to buy the next size up, because she's decided that these are the only pajamas she's going to wear to sleep, ever. Oh yeah, bedtime's been fun...

Luckily, Skip Hop offers a range of sizes from 2T up to 6, so we'll be able to make sure she has her "owl jammies" for as long as this phase lasts. I'm ok with it, though, because I know the applique isn't going to be damaged in the washer. My favorite feature of these pajamas are the tighter-fitting cuffs on the wrists and ankles keep them from creeping up while she sleeps; I know that when she puts them on she's going to be warm all night long.

They're made from 100% cotton too, so the fabric is soft and breathable - so while she'll stay warm, I know she isn't going to overheat.

And they make snuggles even better!
Skip Hop also sent one of their Large Storage Bins, with Otis the Owl, of course. If your kids are anything like mine, there's probably toys scattered all over your living room. Seriously, half the time I can't walk through the living room without stepping on a doll or a book. It isn't that my kids are really messy - more like we didn't have much of an organizational plan implemented. (Ok, they're 3&5 - they might be a little messy.)

Collapsable storage bins are probably one of my favorite ways to organize the kids' toys. They're just so easy to fill up and then put into a cube shelf. The best part is that once you've shoved them into one of those shelves, company doesn't know just how many toys and mismatched dolls you just threw in there five minutes before they come over.

The Large Storage Bins from Skip Hop are a little bit different than other ones though. I mean, first off, look how cute that owl is! They have these easy-to-grip handles that make dragging them across the living room to fill with toys easier for any toddler, and the sides are sturdy enough to hold up to some abuse.

Having a cute storage box that she can call her own really encourages Kaya to clean up after herself. She's been excited to fill up her "owl box" with her toys instead of leaving the scattered all across the house, and that's made my life easier too.
