House Monkey App Review #MonkeyTribeLife

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by House Monkey, but after thoroughly testing the app I have firsthand knowledge and am able to give my own honest opinions.

As "Mom," keeping order in the chaos can be pretty complicated. I have lists everywhere: grocery lists, to-do lists, calendars. Most of the time I feel like I'm drowning, trying to stay on top of everything. Then I found a life saver!

House Monkey is a home management app designed to bring everyone together to organize, schedule and complete everyday chores and home maintenance tasks. Your family, friends, and even the guy crashing on your couch becomes your "Tribe" and the app becomes a one-stop scheduler for all tasks from home chores like taking out the trash and washing the dishes, to monthly assignments like cleaning the gutters or getting the oil changed in the car.

When assigning the tasks, you give a reward for each one, Banana Points. You can set goals for every tribe member for real-life rewards, whether it's an extra hour of TV time, a raise in allowance, or whatever you (and your significant other) decide!

My thoughts? This app is awesome. Seriously, I can't think of a better way to keep everyone all tuned into each other than an app the connects us all. After all, it's the age of technology and we all have our phones with us at all times. I can use it to push reminders to make sure the trash is taken out, or make sure everyone knows who's turn it is to do the dishes.

House Monkey offers a 30-day free trial. After that, a year subscription is just $28.99 per year. That is around $2.40 a month, giving families a cost-efficient way to organize and manage their households, freeing up more time for your family.
