Unfortunately, not many people showed up to my first party since it was a little last minute. Those who did show up were super-impressed with the homemade Mac N' Cheese that I made from the provided recipe courtesy of The Pioneer Woman.
My mom immediately picked up the pan after the mac n' cheese was served and was about to rinse it when I stopped her. The creamy, starchy mess inside the pot was tickling her OCD, but I loaded it straight into the dishwasher. Same with the brownie pan from the night before.
Everyone was arguing with me that the dishwasher would never get those clean, when I let them know that they've been washing their dishes wrong.
With Cascade Platinum, you can skip the pre-wash, and here's why: the enzymes attach to grease and other food particles to thoroughly clean your dishes and leave a sparkling shine. If there's no food soil to attach to, then your detergent isn't working its hardest for you!
To properly load your dishwasher, simply scrape the larger chunks of food into the trash and arrange them into the dishwasher. Don't worry about the food left on the dishes damaging your machine or pipes. Most dishwashers have a built-in garbage disposal just like the one in your sink that keeps your pipes from getting clogged!
Top 5 Tips for Diswasher Success:
1. You can stack your dishes high or low, just be sure that bulky items aren't blocking the sprayers
2. Place tall dishes and pans in the back of the bottom rack so they don't block the detergent chamber.
3. Place glasses and other fragile items on the top rack to keep them away from the powerful sprayer under the bottom rack
4. Keep glasses from getting water spots by putting them between the tines on the top rack, instead of over them. Wet contact points can cause spots.
5. Treading longer utensils through coffee-mug handles can help keep them in place during the wash.
The big reveal:
Even the brownie pan that stayed out all night came clean! Everyone was impressed with how well Cascade Platinum works!
